Are you sure you followed the directions? Maybe you weren’t doing it right. I found a chunk of obsidian down by the river and it sits on my desk. Its supposed to be a strong psychic protection stone and shield me against negativity, as well as cleanse my aura and may even stimulate the gift of prophecy. I haven’t noticed any difference and haven’t had any epiphanies. The stone isn’t any darker. I haven’t tried sitting on it, though. Hmmm…
