By the title of your piece, I had hoped you would have delved deeper into the subject and the many different aspects and implications this subject deserves, rather than just singling out one aspect, such as the high cost of prescription drugs due to the greed of pharmaceutical companies, although it is an important aspect. There is also the BAPCPA (Bankruptcy Abuse Prevention and Consumer Protection Act- it hardly protects consumers), that passed in 2005, which basically gives corporations free-reign to sue individual citizens, while making it more difficult for citizens to sue corporations, the Higher Ed mortgage crises and the Banker-Bandits that make the Mafia look like school children playing at recess.
