Fascinating story. Like most people, I have a colorful ancestral history, but, I would have to write an entire article to tell it, like you have done. Just a couple of snippets; one of my ancestors was named court poet during the reign of Henry VIII, until he fell out of favor by the King and was locked in the tower (where Anne Boleyn was also incarcerated at one point). His character can be seen in the very opening of the 1998 movie "Elizabeth", starring Cate Blanchett, where he is being incinerated at the stake. I have the same name as one of my other ancestors who became an architect of several British government buildings in India. Closer, there is the rich history of my Grandfather and my Great Grandmother.
