First of all, I want to thank you for this article. Maybe this is the bug I ran into. I joined the Medium partnership program and shortly thereafter I joined a publication on Medium, but, I never submitted anything to them, yet. However, I did publish a story on Medium myself that I didn’t want to submit to the publication I had joined, but, I was unable to lock the story in order to participate in the partnership program. I contacted the Medium helpdesk, but, the issue still remains unresolved. Maybe I shouldn’t have applied to join the publication in the first place? I would like to get some feedback on this matter from you. Thanks.
