I had a friend who was a potter. He produced massive quantities of ceramics and they were good. I could never center clay. When I took ceramics in college, I turned to ceramic sculpture to vent my creativity; but, I didn’t delve into it to the depths I should have in retrospect. Although primarily known for his paintings, Gauguin also explored ceramics, woodcarving and print making. It isn’t about the medium, but, the act of creating. Great article.
