I just post on Medium because it provides a platform to publish on, as I don’t have my own site. I’ve searched for alternatives to Medium, but, didn’t turn up much. I actually get more traction on Ello, so I also post there. As far as stats are concerned, my stats on Medium are just for my comments, not for the stories I publish on Medium.
