My analytical side says I’m not a risk taker and like to play it safe; yet, I quit my job and tried to start my own business right before 9/11. It was a miserable failure. I entered a competition at an Art Museum in Great Falls, Montana and was accepted right after college; I drove there to deliver the painting. I moved to Hawaii with barely two nickels to rub together and ended up living there for two years. My history says I am a risk taker and not even a very calculated one. Sometimes it turns out for the good, sometimes it’s a disaster.
