Sometimes we don’t realize how we live in a bubble. As I was reading this, I realized how different our lives and background are. Littering was never acceptable to me; maybe its because I grew up when “Earth Day” was founded and I remember my high school class participating in picking up litter on the sides of the road. I grew up in a family of smokers and my brother got me to smoke my first cigarette when I was 12, yet, I quit when I was 14, despite the peer pressure; I think sports had a lot to do with that decision, as I realized I couldn’t go to practice and have a cigarette before hand- it just didn’t work. Similarly, I kicked McDonalds to the curb and became more conscious of my diet. Excuse the rambling; I know it only partially relates to what you have written.
