Thanks for the chuckle. I don’t quite get the tax thing, but, I’m not a tax advisor. However, we are not employees of Medium and they shouldn’t need that information. We are more akin to private contractors and are responsible for the taxes, not Medium. It smells like Phish to me. Before filing your1099 form be sure and deduct your home office expenses from that $1.98. Please include the cost of all paper clips, sticky notes, hi-lighters, your monthly ISP bill and that bottle of aspirin. Why, before you know it, the IRS will owe you and you’ll be swingin’ from Donald J’s Golf Cart and dancin’ down the green with the rest of the 1%.
