What I get from the ‘Partner Program’ doesn’t even cover my monthly subscription fee, so that is hardly an incentive. I can’t allow myself to get hung-up on the things you mentioned. It is not why I started writing. I enjoy the act of writing. I don’t want those other elements to color my writing. So my stories are relinquished to the backwaters of Medium. So be it.
